- Multi-worker WebAssembly engine with terrain hillshading, underground biome sampling, and structure finders.
mcseedmap.dev
An online Minecraft seed map viewer and seed finder that helps you locate biomes and structures, and find the seeds you want.
It displays a slippy map for a given seed with biomes, terrain estimation, and structures like villages and ocean monuments.
It can also be used to find seeds with specific biomes and structures within a given area.
A seed is a code (number or text) that Minecraft's world generator uses to create landscapes, biomes, caves and structures. The same seed generates the same world layout every time, allowing players to share worlds or find specific terrain.
Since Minecraft 1.18, Java and Bedrock share the exact same terrain elevation and biome distributions. However, structure generation, trees, and small details still differ between editions.
In Java Edition, type /seed in chat (cheats are not required in single-player). In Bedrock Edition, open the Game Settings menu and check the World Seed field.
mcseedmap.dev runs the official cubiomes generation algorithms compiled directly to WebAssembly inside your browser. Map calculation is 100% client-side with no remote server lag.
Check that your selected Minecraft edition and version match your game world. Also confirm that large biomes mode is enabled or disabled to match your world creation settings.
Yes. mcseedmap.dev is completely free, does not require an account, and does not transmit your world seeds or private data to any remote server.
mcseedmap.dev is made possible by open-source projects including cubiomes (by Cubitect), Bedrockified, MCBEStructureFinder, Mantine, and OpenLayers.
